

Rayados warmup with 1-0 victory over Tampico Madero

The Rayados warmed up for upcoming campaign with a 1-0 victory over the Primera División A side Tampico Madero on the strength of Juan Carlos Medina’s goal six minutes after the break. The match featured new additions, Diego MartÃnez, Juan Carlos Medina, Gerardo Galindo, Luis Alonso Sandoval, Osvaldo MartÃnez and Aldo de Nigris into the lineup but without Humberto Suazo who remains in Monterrey rehabilitating an injury. The Rayados were comfortably in control of the match at all times with Juan Carlos Medina and Luis Alonso Sandoval notable in the wings and the defensive unit exhibiting sound fundamentals that were lacking this past season. The Rayados continue in the pre-season with a match against San Luis at Estadio Tecnológico on January 10.
