Rayados devasted at the Tecnológico
By: j | September 20th, 2008I’m going to keep this match review short and sweet because there is little positive to say of it and it was such a complete destruction of Monterrey in every avenue, there is little to learn from it. Simply, Monterrey was humiliated at home 4-0 by Monarcas in foul display of Football. The much-ado defensive play by the Rayados fell apart with tactical precision of visitors as Chilean international Hugo Droguett struck with goals at the ninth and thirty-third minute and then set-up the two others; Wilson Tiago Mathias at the fortieth minute and Ever Guzmán with twenty-one minutes left.
Ricardo Lavolpe will have to regroup Monterrey after this unexplainable collapse as they face Pachuca next week. Once they release information or rationale on this performance I will relay it.
