plans for Los Indios de Juárez
By: j | July 28th, 2008
This Saturdays match against Ciudad Juárez is another important six-point affair and although Sergio Orduña’s squad are newly promoted to the Primera División de México, they accorded themselves well in the pre-season and lost a narrow 1-0 loss to the Tecos last weekend.
In the opening match of the season Los Indios showed a more attacking style with Nelson Sebastián Maz being off-course on a few good scoring opportunities however they for the most part showed good tactical marking and a passion for attacking. With the Rayados continued weakness in defense they could prove tough to handle.
In the next post we’ll review Ricardo Lavolpe’s plan for the week and how he tends to adjust to the opening week disappointment. Los Indios lineup from the opening week is posted below for your review.
