Monterrey v Indios de Ciudad Juárez match preview
By: j | January 23rd, 2009The start of the new season went on perfect for both sides as VÃctor Manuel Vucetich’s reign in-charge of the Rayados a resounding 4-0 victory over Puebla. Monterrey’s visit of Juárez to face the Indios after Héctor Hugo Eugui’s side defeated Tecos 2-1 last week and looking to avenge their 2-0 loss to Monterrey this past August. Like Monterrey after a troubling Apertura campaign, points are important for Juárez’s survival and they will look to impose a tight defensive line against the visitors.
On the injury front Juárez will have Edwin Santibáñez back for the match but will miss Edwin Hernández, Juan Carlos Franco and Ezequiel Maggiolo while the Rayados will be without Juan Carlos Medina to suspension as well as Diego Ordaz, Jesús Arellano, David Stringel and Ernesto Serrato to injury.
Enjoy the ematch and I will report on it as it concludes.
