Monterrey v Cruz Azul match preview
By: j | February 14th, 2009Following last weeks reaffirming 3-2 victory over Tecos, Monterrey welcomes Cruz Azul to Tecnológico. Sitting second in Group 1, VÃctor Manuel Vucetich is unquestionably pleased with the general run of team play but for today’s match he will be tested with a number of absences and availability. In addition to both Felipe Baloy and Ernesto Serrato out of the match, Luis Pérez (México), Humberto Suazo (Chile), Walter Ayovà (Ecuador) and Osvaldo MartÃnez (Paraguay) have all been on international duty and it is unclear if they are fully-fit for the match.
Cruz Azul is looking to rebound from a winless two match streak and kick their attack in to high gear. Benjamin Galindo will be without the services of Marcelo Carrusca, Edgar Andrade, Javier Orozco and Joel Huiqui for the match.
Enjoy the match and as always I will recap upon its conclusions.
