Monterrey 3 – 0 Atlas

Monterrey easily defeats Atlas 3 goals to none in a good game dominated by Rayados. With an ending goal by Suazo who came in after the first half replacing Santana Monterrey golea Atlas. The first half was completely dominated by Rayados as the goals started to some in. At minute 28 the first goal came in as Carreno receives a cross from Medina he traps the ball with his chest and as the ball falls down Atlas Pachenco touches it with his foot as he scores on his own net. Then ten minutes later Santana scores the second of the game from a well cross by Osvaldito Martinez, as all he does is touch the ball for the goal. The rest of the half goes with Monterrey having a 2 – 0 Lead.
In the second half at minute 67 Zavala enters for Osvaldito and Suazo enters for Santana. Atlas create a couple of good plays but Orozco prevents the goals from our net. Then the 3rd and final goal for the game by Suazo comes at minute 85 as he gets a beautiful cross from Paredes he traps the ball, moves to the left as the keeper comes put Suazo keeps going and the keeper has no chance now as he got owned by Suazo and he just shoots the ball in for the third goal. The only downside was that Basanta got injured in his left leg. PLayers missing were Jesus Arellano, Luis Perez, and Aldo Denigris
