Last night Monterrey lot by the minimum against Indios De CD. Juarez. In a match played in La Joya, TX Monterrey lost their 3rd friendly in a row and 5th game of preseason. Now, should we worry about this loss? or take notes and fix the problems. In my opinion as i watched the game Monterrey dominated the whole game. The team had many chances and had complete possession of the ball the whole first half. With Lucho, Ayovi, and DeNigris had a lot of very promising shots and very close to scored But all the effort could not make the difference in the score. The starting formation Vucetich chose was a 5-2-3 with Omar Ortiz, Ordaz, Davino and Basanta, and Ayovi appearing in the left side and a suprising appearance of “Negro” Medina on the right. Galindo, Lucho in Middle. Santana, Carreño & De Nigris in the front.
The first half remained score less. The start of the second half began with Suazo replacing Carreno. Suazo created plays, some good, some bad, but none led to a score. In the middle of the second half the changes were big. Paredes came in for Basanta, Ayovi moved up to the midfield Diego Martinez substitutes Medina, and Osvaldo replaces Santana. Now with a 4-4-2 as expected for the start of the game. Indios landed the first and only goal of the match some time after the changes when Gato Ortiz couldn’t stop a ball correctly and bounces off of him to the player and goes in the net. Like this Monterrey lost their match against Indios.
