A09 First Game VS Indios

Monterrey’s first match of the season. Our rival, Indios with a very good squad is looking to take the 3 points at their home stadium this Saturday night in Ciudad Juarez. Both teams just faced off in a friendly match a couple of weeks ago in a game very much dominated by Rayados but ended in the hands of Indios. Now, in a recent interview Osvaldo Martinez mention that to get a draw out of Ciudad Juarez wouldn’t be a bad thing. I personally thinks that is true but its not the right mentality to bring to a game. You need to think about the 3 points and only the 3 points. We need to go for the victory. Now, would it be disappointing to end in a draw? In my opinion, Yes. We have a very good team with the capacity of doing greatness, and although the absences of Luis Perez and maybe Suazo might conflict the game i think that we could take this game and take the 3 points home. Its all up to the team. Lets hope they do what they do and win the game.
In other news: Dario Carreno got nominated for the “Balon De Oro” which means golden goal for being the bets newcomer. others nominated are Arturo EchavarrÃa – Indios, and Jorge Gastelum – Morelia. Best of luck goes out to Carreno.
